Long time without doing any fixup to any of my cameras. I keep in the storage box a set of some unusual (at least for me) broken cameras, to use as a repair training. Usually I get them very cheap at the flea markets, they use to be damaged, sometimes beyond to be worth to repair.
This time I picked from the box this nice Pontiac Lynx II. I love this camera, it looks old but stylish. The mechanisms are not too complicated, so it’s a good candidate for practicing. Even in the improbable case I could fix it, it won’t be of much profit: It uses 127 film, not being built nowadays, really scarce and expensive to find. And the few labs that are still developping film, don’t take 127. Anyway it’s almost a “lost cause”, and I love them.
